planning has begun.

there are so many stages to wedding planning & tasks to get acomplished. i started with the bridal party attire. i haven't fully finished their looks but here are some of my favorites from the blogging world. ideas to get you thinking: floral & neutral dresses.

it was designed by mellisa joy manning. but was found & purchased at greenwich jewelers. & i absolutely love it! the stone is a labradorite in a hammered yellow gold setting.

& here's how it went...

september 15: our engagement!

the day started with a surprise visit that led to breakfast, peach roses, & of course boyfriend.
we were celebrating our 4 year anniversary & boyfriend had the whole day planned out without me even knowing.

we parted ways after breakfast, i to work, him to homework then to class or so i thought.

the night started with a phone call from my mom & dad saying that they were in town with a couple that lives in the area & works for my dad & "forgot" to tell me.
i thought it was a little odd but it happens.
they told me where to meet them.
the first place i went was not the right one.
but the second time was a charm.
i saw the back of coe's head turn smiling at me.
well that happened after calling my mom again & saying, "mom where are you guys ... you're not here ... ummm ... i'll call you back!"

boyfriend was in central park sitting in a gazebo waiting for me.
i first proceeded to scold him for ditching class & ask what was he doing here & then gave him a big silly hug while laughing!
then i knew!!! :)

he got down on one knee.

put his hand on my back & said, "jessica, i love you, will you marry me".

i said yes!!!!! (as he took the gorgeous ring out of that beautiful little brown box!)

i was grinning & in awe. so was he which was so cute.

then we sealed the deal with a kiss.

& then celebrated with our parents & my little sister em!
