happy birthday elise catherine.

i am officially an aunt! my lovely sister gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby girl. she was born 7 lbs 9 oz 20.5 in. i had the pleasure of spending 4 days with her in denver. oh how i love this little girl!

best.

probably the best picture of the trip. timing, clarity, perfection. this picture is sweet.

tower.

this tower looked over the hot springs national park. you took an elevator up where they had two levels. on one level were videos and information about hot springs, ar and bill clinton. clinton's from there if you didn't know. there were lots of windows to look out. on the second level you could look out without windows. only problem was ... lots and lots of wasps. so boyfriend and i took a quick run out and then back inside.

hot springs national park.

this is my first journey to a national park. not the boyfriend's first. we toured the fordyce bath house. ate at babalu's ... a sweet little diner i'd recommend. it was a beautiful day. but like always some mosquitos found me to feed on.

vacation.

what a delightful word. so full of endless possibilities. the boyfriend and i went away for the weekend. it was lovely. here is a glimpse. we went on many adventures ... including an enchanting evening to our dear friends wedding.

i love this man.

i changed my desktop picture last night to this. i forgot all about it till i opened my computer up tonight. oh how i love this man. how silly he can be.

journey into the wild.

i have only kept a diary once or maybe twice in my life. so this is very new. i fear my memory will not always hold up to the high standards i have in place for it. so i plan on trying ... to start to document my life and the wonderful things that inspire me for the day. i hope this blog will force me to write more, take more pictures, and focus on the little things.
